Heather Donovan is a new author living in Massachusetts.  As a young adult she won awards for creative writing and successfully wrote a child’s play performed by a traveling drama team. While working towards her bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology at the University of Massachusetts, Heather wrote her first chapter book, a story of where she has been and where she might go in the future. Because of the Brave is Heather’s first full length fiction novel and is very close to her heart as her brother is an active duty Staff Sergeant in the Unites States Air Force. Heather became a stay at home mother when her son was born and enjoys spending her days playing peek-a-boo and her nights writing.
